Hi - OK, I'm stumped and I need your help. Everything has worked beautifully on my SuSE 8.2 installation for a long time until a few days ago when I tried to change the printing margins in the Kate editor because I wanted them to be larger. I looked at the margins that were set (I was doing this from within Kate), saw they were set for "centimeters", changed them to "inches" and clicked "save". It didn't seem to take, but since that time none of the KDE apps (except, oddly enough, Kedit) will print. If I try to print something in Kate or KNode etc. I get the usual Kprinter dialogue box but when I click Print, nothing happens. No error messages. Printing with Kprinter works perfectly as it always has in all non-KDE apps such as OpenOffice, Emacs, Mozilla, Evolution, etc. I'm using the default CUPS with my Epson Stylus 900. I logged into a different account and Kate prints OK, so it must be something in my own account, but I can't see what it is. Please point me in the right direction - I've been using SuSE exclusively since 8.0, but because it is so stable and works so well, I'm not that skilled in troubleshooting.
