[opensuse] Problem with a Canon Selphy 740
This is an older photo printing machine. It is now supported by gutenprint drivers and is also offered in yast. The problem I face: I have activated cups and cups browsed (as it is an older printer). When I list it in lsusb I can see the selphy correctly seen as usb device. However, when opening yast, the printer is not seen, so I cannot install any driver. I shortly thought about an apparmor problem but deactivating tentatively apparmor does not change a thing. I am stuck because in substance: I do not understand why a device that is listed in lsub is not seen in yast. Maybe it is not correctly seen as print device? How could I determinate this? I have a 910 one.
