Hi all,
When I try to do an NFS mount I get this error:
------------------------- CW:/ # mount /Poky mount: RPC: Program not registered ----------------------
I believe that I've got everything set up right. But... what do you all think I should look at. BTW I'm running SuSE 6.3.
I've run into this before. The first thing I do is switch to the userspace nfs server. There is an entry in yast to change and a package in series network. The second thing: for some reason the rpc daemon must be started on the client also. It seems hit or miss. If all fails, try starting the rpc and nfsserver manually, and see the error message. /sbin/init.d/rpc start /sbin/init.d/nfsserver start

I tried this, no joy. :( What entry in yast should I change? TIA! "Use kernel based nfs server" = no Then install the userpace nfsserver package in the n series.
