[opensuse] problems installing OpenSUSE 10.3 in Via EPIA
hi, I'm having troubles to install OpenSUSE in a Via Epia Motherboard. I can install the OS, the machine reboots but then when the configuration begins (root's password, ...) the machine freezes in the last point "Hardware configuration". I've found a similar bug reported to the OpenSUSE bugzilla [1] but in my case I cann't switch to the text-console. If I tried to switch to it the machine freezes (even before arriving to the "Hardware configuration" section). The solution proposed isn't valid for me. Could you give me any advice to solve this? For example, how could I begin a text-based installation in OpenSUSE to try to avoid the freeze...
