Until I can figure out the mechanics of xdm, I've given up on the incantations of Xaccess and so on to run my networked systems from _this_ console. vnc seems like the next-best-thing {TM}, but I'd much rather run GNOME or KDE. Is there a way of using these environments rather than the default twm? Or can I exec xlogin via vnc? thanks for any tips, gary -- Gary D.
