Hi folks, I'm almost in desperate mode. :) I have a big little problem to print in a remote Windows 2000 printer through samba. The printer is an Epson Stylus Color C60 Series Basically: I have SLES8 in my machine (samba-2.2.5-178). I'm trying to configure a smb printer in YaST, everything went ok! but when I type: "lp -dprinter /etc/passwd" I had the output: request id is printer-5 (1 file(s)) the return code is 0. But the @#$(!*@# of my printer does nothing! my /etc/cups/printers.conf <DefaultPrinter epsonsty> Info epsonsty_desc Location epsonsty_local DeviceURI smb://user:pass@169.126.5.19/printer State Idle Accepting Yes JobSheets none none QuotaPeriod 0 PageLimit 0 KLimit 0 </Printer> What I'm doing wrong?? Please help me! -- [ ]'s Lawrence Ferreira LINUX User (SuSE) #271016
