I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I'll ask anyway. Doesn't appear to be in the support db. Emacs is a real pain when the ctrl key is way down in the lower left of the keyboard. Some users swap it to where the shift key is, but I don't know how to do this. Can it be done temporarily, or must it be done permanently? Assume SuSE 5.3. I use console apps mostly, but advice on changing this in X might be helpful as well. Paul M.
