RE: [SLE] Plain text vs HTML text....
I'm using MS Outhouse98 (I'm stuck here at work:-() and it will handle html, but everytime an html message comes in my font gets thrown out of whack and it becomes difficult to read with sometimes only three of four words per line (lots of scrolling). Fortunately, it is simple enough to select all of the text and reset to my default font. I would imagine that html also consumes more bandwidth (not much, but it could add up) than plain text. That said, personally I prefer plain text (mainly because I have a friend who insists on using every silly feature when sending e-mail, her 20 point bold italic font drives me absolutely insane and...uh, sorry) Tim

I used to be guilty of that 'crime' as well, a couple of years ago. Hey, what can you do - when you discover something new you tend to overdo things. I think I tried out every single unpronounceable font, resource gobbling backgrounds, you name it. But then, as you grow older and wiser, ahem, you get the idea. It's the contents of the written matter that count. -- Yatsen Ng yatsen.ng@brunel.nl Den Haag, The Netherlands It said "Needs Windows 95 or better".
