Hi All ~ I installed Evolution some time ago and was able to configure my Palm on it. Unfortunately, when I got a newer one, I was unable to get it to work. Is there a FAQ on changing devices? Thanks, Chris Forzetting " 'Think as I think,' said a man, 'or you are a toad.' And after I had thought of it, I said, 'Then I am a toad.' Can you be more specific? What Palm did you get & what interface does it use - serial or USB? What version of Evolution are you now using & what version of pilot-link/gnome-pilot? -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.1). Not AFAIK. But there are quite a few on setting linux up to sync to PalmOS devices, so that might be the place to look. I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem if both devices were serial (or both USB). If you've changed from serial to USB, though, you'll need to check that evolution is using the right ports to sync.
