[SLE] How is KFM coming along?
Hello, I use KFM sometimes. But it is really buggy. And often kills everything in sight as it crashes. I have SuSE 6.2 . I'm just wondering how it is doing in the SuSE 6.4 version. Is it much improved? George, Works great for me. I'm running SuSE 6.4 with the latest patches. I make no guarantees, but you may be able to use the latest KDE RPMs form SuSE's site on 6.2. It may require some other package updates as well. If you've already done this just tell me to shut up. Hello Steve, actually hadn't even thought of it. I use Cyrillic, and KFM works great in KOI8-R, but does not have Microsofts, cyrillic strangely enough. Netscape is just a pain with Cyrillic, and am waiting till 6.0 gets debugged. Thanks George Mon, 01 May 2000, ÷Ù ÎÁÐÉÓÁÌÉ:

6.2 carried KDE-1.1.1. 6.[34] has KDE-1.1.2, which is a much more significant update than the version number suggests. KFM is much better, and the upgrade is worthwhile. Can't guarantee it'll fix your problems of course... :-) KDE-2 has a completely rewritten browser, the snapshots of which suggest seriously good quality. That's some way away yet though.
