the mailinglist software "majordomo" was found having several local vulnerabilties. However, the licence of the program prohibites us providing a fix! :-(
Indeed?! I thought that Majordomo was rather free.
Anyone have recommendations for a good alternative to majordomo, hopefully one that's on my SuSE CDs?
Mailman is not distributed by SuSE (not yet, at least! :-), but might provide an alternative approach, with a Web interface to configure it all, and a lot of tunability. I did not install it yet, but this is one of my short term tasks to do so. See: http://www.list.org for more information. Someone told me Mailman distributions are also available, now, where GNU packages are found. -- François Pinard http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~pinard -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
