My leap421 installation just told me $SUBJ. I guess some update wasn't quite tested. I have to say, I'm glad I'm not dependent on Leap to work all the time.

$SUBJ? Which is? The screenlocker (automatic screenlocker) is known not to work due to a bug and won't fix because it has been fixed upstream. The updates today fixed only a crash in the switch-user and should not modify in any way the screenlocker. What happens sometimes is a black screen telling you that you locker has been damaged. You can unlock it using the tty1. The command should be mentioned in the error message. With me that works (happened several times now). --- Alle Postfächer an einem Ort. It looks as if there are quite many "won't fix" because of fix in upstream. When will these upstreams reach the current leap installs? Will they ever? The many leap 42.1 bugs I see here make me think if I'd better reinstall my laptop to 13.2, because as soon as I go travelling it will be my only machine on which I really depend.... I am not sure if this is only a personal feeling of mine or if leap effectively is still too adolescent to rely on it... you may have this feeling with every Linux version ever, if you are unlucky and get a hardware that don't fit well... usually after some setup, you can fit your distro with your hardware abd then much less problem since the next install :-) jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

See Subject.

It wasn't known to me until I applied a bunch of updates :-)

Sure, that's what I got too. See $SUBJ/Subject. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (20.4°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
