Hiya, I thought I better give more info on what's happening: If I use XF86Setup and select all VGA stuff, everything works fine and it closes writing the XF86Config file. Then, when I run xdm or startx, my screen blanks out and I have to reboot. If I use XF86Setup and select SVGA stuff, it starts the SVGA server with a 320x204 screen ... I get beautiful graphics, but I see only the top left 1/4 of the desktop. Is there anyway to force this thing to use even at least 640x480? I'd really want to use 1024x768, but I'd be grateful to get even 640x480. Here's what it says as it's starting (I did a startx > startx.txt) XFree86 Version 3.3.1 / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6300) Release Date: August 4 1997 If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer than the above date, look for a newer version before reporting problems.
