[opensuse] An application equivalent to yum-fastestmirror?
Dear all, Sometimes on my internet connection, zypper tries a few mirrors and gets in this really slow loop which normally ends up in the "Timeout exceeded" error. My question is, is there something akin to yum's fastestmirror plugin for zypper where it looks up the list of mirrors and uses the fastest one? Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

They are implementing metalink download in zypper. When this works, it will go as fast as available bandwidth. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
