Hello, So the receiving fax did not answer according to HylaFax. What I do is listen in to make sure that my modem is dialing correctly, that it starts beeping, that the other side answers, that the two talk, etc to determine where things are going wrong. May just need to tweak the /var/spool/fax/etc/config.tty# or config.modem file In any event, you are on the wrong thread. You need to head on over to www.hylafax.org and post on their thread. You can post to flexfax@sgi.com without having to sign up. I would not ask for messages to be sent to you personally, as many will then not bother.
