I am running v13.2 and need help configuring the Silicon Image sii4726 5 port raid chip. Silicon Image provides both a Windows and a Linux configuration tool. Unfortunately they were last updated in 2006. The Windows version will not work in Windows 10 and the Linux version will not run citing a multitude of old library dependencies. I have also tried running the Windows version in Wine and installed VirtualBox and ran Windows 7 in VirtualBox. No go either way. I know the chipset is recognized and the system shows all 4 drives present. Each drive can be accessed via fdisk but no way to connect to the raid chip to configure it out of jbod which is the factory default. I have contacted Silicon Image and they will not return my call (so much for customer support). Any ideas on how to configure this chip?
