I would guess either Sendmail is not running (no daemon on port 25) or
the sendmail binary is missing. To check the former, try "telnet
localhost 25" and see if any thing answers. To check the latter,

Should test if sendmail is present.

that was it a minor problem on the recipe in .procmailrc
i was so frstrated i kill sendmail and pot postfix :-)
but the problem was a typo in procmailrc. strange the log in procmail did not show it :-)
at least now i can concentrate on the bigger issue :-)

What exactly do you have in .forward, or is it procmailrc?
Somewhere you have "landie" being interpreted as a command.
