if you got it from XX-OSS repo, you should file a bug. if you didn't, you probably should. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Carlos, [...]
I will undo a setting. [...] No more crashes, sixth song now. It is the setting "Library / save statistics in file tags when possible".
Now I have material for a bugzilla.
do you use a plasma desktop on openSUSE Tumbleweed? You could try clementine-qt5 instead of clementine. See https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1137785#c2

Which version of clementine? I use the latest version of clementine from: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/plater/Leap_15.1 Clementine in Leap:15x does segfault on exit sometimes, due to a double free from qt, with qt4 and qt5 but Tumbleweed's works flawlessly for me. There have been crashes on audio files with zero date fields in the tag but this has been fixed by upstream and the patches are in openSUSE Please open a bug report and assign it to davejplater@gmail.com or click: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/enter_bug.cgi?classification=7340&product=openSUSE.org&component=3rd%20party%20software&assigned_to=davejplater@gmail.com&short_desc=multimedia:apps/clementine:%20Bug https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1137785 I've been testing it on my Tumbleweed laptop with no crashes. Don't use clementine-qt5 it is unsupported and doesn't even come from an openSUSE repository. Michael's issue isn't clementine it's a pulse audio problem. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Which version of clementine?
Initially, the one from the Multimedia Leap 15.0 repo, then the one from the OSS repo. I opened a bugzilla on the issue. [...] Oh, I see you found it. :-) -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)

but why does it only happen when using Clementine. I regularily use qmmp, vlc, amarok, .. - none of them crashes. Bye. Michael. -- Michael Hirmke -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Bye. Michael.
Your problem is with Tumbleweed clementine and I can't reproduce the bug, Robin's bug is with 15.0's clementine-1.3.1 and I can reproduce it in 15.1 with the same version. It's a separate bug.
