Hello, First head to yast2, and in the basic network settings, there is a mail icon. Click on that, and make sure your IP connection is correct, IE. dial-up or dedicated. Next, go to user settings and add the user to name to mail. That ought to get you rollin. /Dee On (13/07/02 11:51), Dan Christensen wrote:

First check your muttrc file if it contents: set realname="Dan Christensen" set from=danchristensen@your.domain #set envelope_from # When set, this variable contains a default from address. It can be overridden using # my_hdr (including from send-hooks) and `` $reverse_name''.
is my sendmail configuret wrong or what i can send to everyone else but this list, now im trying from kmail to see if it helps ?
Using sendmail to send your mail to this list please check if you are using smtp (e.g. are posting using an ISP) If so you have to define via Yast or in your linux.mc file define(`SMART_HOST', `smtp:foo.bar.net')dnl FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)dnl FEATURE(`genericstable', `hash /etc/mail/genericstable') Also have a look at your genericstable in /etc/mail/genericstable. Also have a look at /etc/mail/README Oliver -- ... don't touch the bang-bang fruit
