When I insert an audio or dvd disc, the kernel thinks I want it to be smart and recognize it and change my existing desktop shortcuts for the DVD and CD-R icons. I changed the value in the Powertweak Configuration tool for check_media. this value is at zero. I changed it to one, and the same thing happens, so I set it back to zero. Am I changing the wrong value? How do I disable this?

Good day Dale, play with the settings of SuSEplugger. Also se the SDB for SuSEplugger. There is a whole long page about this thingy there. Best regards :o) Johnny :o)
