Has anyone had a problem configuring pptpd to run using the runlevel editor in Yast2? When I try to have pptpd run at level 3 and 5 I get an error saying that it need the "route" service also. Thanks! Robert
Hi there! Could you please try the command "apcaccess status" on a SuSE 8.1 running apcupsd-3.8.6-17? Any hints about the error from the subject? P.S. I have two machines which generate this kind of error, and one where everything runs smoothly... Regards, Radu

In suse-security-announce list that package has been reported as having a security problem and has been updated. Check what version you have: the new one is precissely "apcupsd-3.8.6-17" -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

Yes, I had that problem also. There is a line in the /etc/rc.d/pptpd file like this: # Required-Start: network route I changed it to this: # Required-Start: network And then everything worked magically. -- Kelly L. Fulks Home Account
