[opensuse] Skype chat problem
Hi all, I'm using SuSE 11.2 with Skype 2.1.0.47 it seems to work when I phone the test call. BUT everytime I try to use chat Skype cashes. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what are you doing for it? Thanks! JIM -- The US was colonized by the religious, political, economic, and criminal rejects of every country in the world. Not really answering your question: with Skype 2.1.0.81 Beta on oS 11.2 I don't have any crashes. -- Met vriendelijke groet, Harrie Baken Tekstbureau TekstBaken (web)teksten & optimalisatie van websites (seo) www.tekstbaken.nl | harriebaken@tekstbaken.nl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi, Same platform here and SKYPE(version 2.1.0.81) chat (console) is OK, but no video/audio-chat. Problem is on my USB webcam wherein video is OK but audio (mic) is absent due the fact the embedded mic is still unrecognized by the kernel. Have you verified to have installed all dependencies SKYPE requires? -- opensuse 11.2 - Linux 2.6.31.12-0.2-default x86_64 AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology MK-36 - GeForce Go 6150 Gnome 2.28.2

That would certainly explain that Rev. Terry Jones, who's been in the news recently. As shown by him, the U.S. certainly has more than it's share of "peculiarities". -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Peculiarities? Come on, guys -- the only thing peculiar about this is that it's rare enough here to have attracted attention :-). John Perry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
