Konqueror and the missing /root directory
I am using SuSE 8.2 (current update) with windowmaker. After a small problem with grip, which resulted in 17,000 copies of the same .mp3 file ending up in my root directory, I ended up saving what subdirectories I could and deleting the root file. (There were apparently too many inodes for rm *.mp3 to work, and although I later found other ways of dealing with this, that is not the main story.) Anyhow, after putting everything back together, the only problem I could not solve was that konqueror did not start via the windowmaker menu system any longer. I could start it from the xterm window, and after spitting out a few error messages about missing GLX (I think) extensions, it started up, and for the rest of the windowmaker session the menu system worked. I have tried restoring windowmaker and kde files from disk, but that has not fixed it. It would be nice to use the windowmaker menu system for this again. Has anyone got any ideas of what needs to be fixed? ODI ----------------------------------------- Hot Mobiil - helinad, logod ja piltsõnumid! http://portal.hot.ee
