Doubt about use giFT p2p ??

Install apollon, it uses the Gift network and many others. Available at http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/rpm-navigation.php?cat=%2FNetwork%2Fapollon/ fx

Are you sure the right ports are open on your firewall?
