[opensuse] Intenso external USB HD : not seen when using usb extension Hub

What happens after "Spinning up disk.. "? Is that a powered hub or a passive one (without power supply)? If it's passive, chances are that it's too weak to power the disk. - Nothing happens

If you do not have a self powered hub it will not work as the USB connection on the PC cannot supply enough powe for both the hub and disk.
