Hello All, No jokes please as I find them offensive. Back in SuSE 6.3 I used to use this program for my astronomy images. I can not find a source for it even Googling turns up pages that no longer exist. Does anyone know of a source for this program from Yale Uni ? -- Kindest regards, Clive http://homepage.ntlworld.com/c.rogers/ Fighting for darker skies. Considering that we don't even know what program you're talking about... in short: NO! Come back when you have a better description of what it is you're looking for, like...oh I don't know... a NAME maybe? The name of the program is in the subject line. Its called YoMama (Yale Observatory iMAge Manipulation Applicationfrom). I think it was written in Java but am not sure been too long since I ran the program.

Ah. That wasn't clear from your first post. You could have put this explanatory information in the initial post. It would have clarified things immensely. What google searches have you tried?

Astronomy YoMama Yale University which came up with lots of pages with the program but none of the links pointed to a live zip like the link that David provided. I would drop "University" from your search (it's redundant, and just increases the ranking of non-useful pages) and probably add "software" and/or linux learn to tweak google searches. for example, enclosing words in quotes, such as: "WordA WordB" prefers WordA followed by Word B.... but will still find any page with either WordA or WordB on it. but joining words with a dash: WordA-WordB finds pages with WordA followed by WordB, possibly seperated by whitespace and/or punctuation, so it will find: WordAWordB WordA WordB WordA, WordB WordA: WordB WordA. WordB etc. but not WordB nor WordA in isolation. And contrarily WordA -WordB finds pages with WordA and WITHOUT WordB.

Yes I have tried both Amule and Ktorrent but nothing. Every search using Google also turned up nothing which is why I wrote to the list.
