KDM/X Doesn't Know Keyboard First Try
I just upgraded to SuSE 9.2 and installed kde 3.3.2. When I try to login, either kdm or X doesn't talk to my keyboard unless I do Menu -> Restart X Server then it works. What is Wrong?

This has been asked on this and other Linux mailing lists a lot lately. There are at least 3 KDE bugs about this: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29067 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45478 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91395 Nowhere have I seen a good solution or a real answer to the cause. Until YOU a month ago, I had no problem. You found the workaround I use on 9.1 & 3.2.whatever I updated to. -- "I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
