Hi Folks, I have a SuSE 8.2 KDE 3.1.1 system that has been working fine for months. Spell checking has worked fine in KMail and KEdit. Now after a logout and logon spell checking refuses to work. Click 'tools' > 'spelling' yeilds a popup that says "ISpell/ASpell could not be started, make sure it is properly configured and in your path". But if it has been working correctly, and there has been no catastrophy, why does it fail out of the blue? I know there is an unresolved bug involving spell checking and KWrite but this is a new failure of a working feature.
