[opensuse] Something weird with Firefox in Opensuse 10.2
Hi All, Am having weirdness with Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20061023 SUSE/2.0.0.4-1.1 Firefox/2.0.0.4. Seems that I am getting what appears to be raw html script where the headlines should be in a local on-line newspaper. I have included a screenshot to demonstrate what I am experiencing. This is something that just appeared as I don't recall having done anything to precipitate this. Any help in how to fix this would be great. Thank you, Phil
That is quite strange, I am not getting that behavior. Try backing up your .mozila and seeing if it happens again, maybe a plug in you installed? On Friday 29 June 2007 19:32, Phil Savoie wrote:

Do you have Flash enabled? For some reason the headlines on that page appear to be flash objects. HTH Dave

It might also be bad code coming from the server. Try loading the same page with lynx. -- Abstinence-Only sex education is a little like Just-Hold-It potty training. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Faster download speed and a cleaner connection. I have dialup so these things happen often. One part of the HTML is missing usually a single character missing from the download will cause the HTML to appear rather than render. Try a reload. I note they do not appear at the library or the university where there is broadband. Not even in Windows. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
