11.0 x86 64 with kde 4.1. Trying to access some samba shares and i keep getting prompted to enter a password and it never takes the password i enter. What i am trying to do is, this server is without any users meaning it only has root login. It is not in active directory domain however, i want to authenticate to AD. So when at a workstation, i enter the path to the share and enter an AD username and password. Since this share that lives on a samba server does not have any users except root, i never can auth.
