[opensuse] Run Hamster time tracker applet in KDE
Does anyone know how to run Hamster time tracker applet in KDE. The only way I found is by using in a terminal window /usr/lib/hamster-applet/hamster-applet -w However, I wonder if there is a better way of starting this applet, without needing to have all the time a window open. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Add an Ampersand (&) at the end of the command it will put the process
in background and you may close the window
/usr/lib/hamster-applet/hamster-applet -w &

Try the ampersand thing, or try using a *.desktop file
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Hamster time tacker
Exec=/usr/lib/hamster-applet/hamster-applet -w
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Copy that string to a text file and save it as "the_name_you_want.desktop"
