[opensuse] Linphone issue
Hello. I did try to run linphone and I get an error message: # linphone linphone: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/liblinphone.so.6: undefined symbol: payload_type_aaceld_48k # uname -a Linux linux-8dae 3.16.7-21-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Apr 14 07:11:37 UTC 2015 (93c1539) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux #cat /etc/os-release NAME=openSUSE VERSION="13.2 (Harlequin)" VERSION_ID="13.2" PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE 13.2 (Harlequin) (x86_64)" ID=opensuse ANSI_COLOR="0;32" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:opensuse:opensuse:13.2" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.opensuse.org" HOME_URL="https://opensuse.org/" ID_LIKE="suse" Could someone fix the problem? The hints I have found using google are not working (upgrade libortp etc). Hello. I solved the issue by manually installing the libortp 0.24.2-14.1 from the Packman Repository. And maybe I have found the problem but I need an advice from the packaging specialists before opening a bug report. This is the libortp required by Linphone: #rpm -qpR linphone-3.8.5-97.1.x86_64.rpm| grep libortp libortp.so.9()(64bit) Provided by #zypper search --provides --match-exact libortp.so.9 S | Nome | Sommario | Tipo --+----------------+------------------------------------+---------- i | libortp9 | Real-time Transport Protocol Stack | pacchetto | libortp9-32bit | Real-time Transport Protocol Stack | pacchetto # zypper search --detail libortp9 S | Nome | Tipo | Versione | Arch | Repository --+--------------------------+-----------+--------------+--------+------------------- i | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.24.2-14.1 | x86_64 | Packman Repository v | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.23.0-2.1.2 | x86_64 | openSUSE:13.2 v | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.23.0-2.1.2 | x86_64 | openSUSE-13.2-Oss v | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.23.0-2.1.2 | x86_64 | openSUSE-13.2-0 v | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.24.2-14.1 | i586 | Packman Repository v | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.23.0-2.1.2 | i586 | openSUSE:13.2 v | libortp9 | pacchetto | 0.23.0-2.1.2 | i586 | openSUSE-13.2-Oss | libortp9-32bit | pacchetto | 0.24.2-14.1 | x86_64 | Packman Repository | libortp9-debuginfo | pacchetto | 0.24.2-14.1 | x86_64 | Packman Repository | libortp9-debuginfo | pacchetto | 0.24.2-14.1 | i586 | Packman Repository | libortp9-debuginfo-32bit | pacchetto | 0.24.2-14.1 | x86_64 | Packman Repository I'm wrong if I say that the rpm of linphone should explicitly require a version of libortp9 > 0.24, otherwise if the version 0.23 is already installed and even a newer version is available this is not automatically installed?
