I think if you follow the instructions on the ATI site for installing the drivers, you'll find you don't have to do anything but just click a few keys on your keyboard to configure it. One thing they mention about starting the installer. They say: Enter the command: ./ati-driver-Installer-8.20.8.run to launch it. This didn't work for me, because the file is not executable. The file you download will be under a different name, so you should rename it to the above. Next, as root in your shell, cd to the directory you stored the file. (I would recommend you make a new directory for this procedure) Then issue this command: sh ./ati-driver-Installer-8.20.8.run That should get it going, choose automatic and once it finishes, just run fglrxconfig to setup the card. Do not run sax2, it's no longer used. regards, Lee
