The Preferences/Look & Feel/Menu Settings function on the KDE menu fails to initiate. Any thoughts? geno

Same for me, though you can run the app from the Control Center, which seems to work fine. It looks like the launch command for that particular application is broken in the menu. If you fire up kmenuedit (which is under the System menu iirc), you'll see the command for Look & Feel/Menu Settings is "kcmshell SuSEmenu". This doesn't work. It should be "kcmshell susemenu" (lower case). That seems to fix it for me anyway. What still confuses me is where KDE gets its menus from and how it builds them. I know that it mixes /opt/kde2/share/applnk with $HOME/.kde2/share/applnk, but where is the SuSE menu coming from? Cheers, -nick
