Yes, it does. Once you send an email to the list, gmail thinks that the email you get back from the list is a duplicate, and deletes it silently. The rest of the list see it, but not the sender. Therefore, newcomers think that their post did not get to the list and repeat the post, or the test. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. I'm not sure, but I don't think this is a gmail feature, but rather a mailman feature. There's a setting in mailman to disable receipt of posts that you sent (I think it's called "not metoo" or something like that). It is true that mailman has that feature, yes; but this list is using another mail list server, called "mlmmj" (check the "Mailing-List" header), which doesn't do that. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Here is Gmail's official dope on this silly feature:
Further on this: If you want it to appear in your Gmail, you should consider adding two filters to Gmail for this list. One filter "Labels: the message when it originates from the list (you probably already have that filter). Then add a Second filter applies the same label when it originates from you, AND is sent to the list. (Thats the one you are missing). This latter filter makes sure it gets a label as it is being archived, and then it will not simply disappear into the archive as the above link states. It will also appear in your Labeled mail for this list. You need to do this once for each list you post to. -- ----------JSA--------- Someone stole my tag line, so now I have this rental. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The message will appear in your inbox if someone responds to it or if there is an error delivering the message. If you'd like to view your message, you can find it in Sent Mail or All Mail. Doesn't every free image cache website have ads? Like Mike also mentioned below, many of them aren't true and misleading, like the free scan ones, but I mean that's how they host your images for free.
To Allen: find a different image cache site.
Could you recommend one? Really, I'm not familiar with all of those image hosting sites... Thanks!

I thought they were talking about actually attaching a file in your email, like a picture or document, not posting a link to another hosting site... What I see there is that you can see your won email, yes. But if you check the headers, you will see that it is the one you sent, ie, the one in your sent folder; it is not the one you received through the opensuse server. Yes, but isn't that the point? As long as you know what you sent out.... I understand, but if someone wants to unsubscribe, they would unsubscribe by copying and pasting the email in another thread of in a message reply... Besides that, the headers are different. But after going through mlmmj, the text of the email does not change, you still will see your own same message... I personally don't mind that; but that doesn't mean others don't mind and might need this to make sure they made their message to the list for example. Can we also stop this thread? It has nothing to do with OpenSUSE... Allen Zhu allen.jaloola@gmail.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
