I doubt you will ever see the "fake" raid that is on these boards ever supported. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Of cause it's supported by dmraid! For dmraid to work, it only needs to know the on-disk layout of the RAID arrays created in BIOS. The rest is done by the sofware RAID support in in the kernel. Because it only needs to know the layout, dmraid can even use RAID arrays created by a different chip, i.e. lets you use nvidia raids on a board with Intel chipset :-) Philipp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
