Anything you want to run at boot should be declared in /sbin/init.d/boot.local Joseph Beaman wrote:
Hello all,
I have written a few scripts that I would like to run when I boot the machine. I am sure that there is a simple way to do it...but I don't know how. Please help :-)

Does the sequence this script executes matter? Is there anything that has to come before it? Or is there anything that has to come after it? Depending on the situation, you may need to write a script which is linked from within /sbin/init.d/rc[0-6].d . Need more information here before any decision be made on where it should go.
