I can't do any graphical install either 10.0 or 10.1. I have have tried LG L1952 and Samsung 710n, both report an invalid frequency 43 by 46hz. Any suggestion? -- Thanks http://www.911networks.com -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Some chipsets (for instance Intel i810) are a bit troublesome and may not support the graphical installation process at all. Can you verify which chipset you are using? However, can you still install via a text-only interface? It's not the chipset, it the the frequency, because it I replace the LCD with a regular boob-tube to works properly.

Yes, the text install works with the LCD panel. -- Thanks http://www.911networks.com -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

When you boot up, add vga=792 to the LILO or GRUB command line. Or do any other video mode that your LCD will work on. Once you can see the LCD, you should be able to complete the graphical install.
