Greetings, I had a query on the Yast License. I have read the license and to my understanding it means this. We can redistribute the SuSe Linux (along with yast) if we are giving it monetarily free, but if we are selling the product then we need permission from SuSe Linux. Am I correct at my understanding. Please enlighten me. Regards.

You really need to contact SuSE directly about this, I think, rather than relying on this list which is comprised of users, not of SuSE staff. They will be able to give you a definitive answer. Yes, that's an excellent development. I still think he might be best contacting SuSE though, because the way I read it he appears to be talking about redistributing the entire distro. If it were me, I'd want a written green light from SuSE before acting. Best Fergus
