[opensuse] Uninstall update applied by SuSE updater?
It appears that when I installed the patches for tcl and tk earlier this week, it broke the sipe plugin for pidgin, and I can't log into our Lync server anymore. The version on my laptop that got installed by the SuSE updater is: tk-8.6.3-5.1.i586 tcl-8.6.3-4.1.i586 Is there any way that I can figure out what the prior version was, and back-rev to that version? I'm running 13.1. Thanks! Chris -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

/var/log/zypp/history Also "rpm -qa --last". You will need to look at which version was installed before the last one. It could be quite a while back (may be as initial installation). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Awesome, thanks much! And yep, I'll try to open a bug report once I have some more time to gather the information they'll need for this :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

You can use "zypper se -s <packet name>" to find the available versions for that packet. With "zypper in --force <packet name>-<version>" you can reinstall a specific version. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
