I have Evolution working quite well with spamassassin, but I would like to also use the amavis. From reading the readme files is seems this should be possible without using fetchmail using the pipe to command in Evolution, but I am not quite clear on how to do this. Seems like amavis send a status to postfix via port 10025 and I don't undrstand how to handle that. Has anyone done this with Evolution and could give some pointers? Done a search on the web and SuSE database with no results. BTW it is SuSE 8.2 and Evolution 1.45. Art

Do a search on Google for spamassassin +evolution. The first page has a number of ways to do it. I used the spamd daemon and the spamc -c for the pipe to program, if returns greater than 0, move to pam folder, end process one. Art Hans Krueger wrote:
