I don't remember exactly, I believe this is one of the QT/DBus RPM's you need. Go into "Yast->Software->Software Management" and do a search for RPM's that provide that file. I had this problem before and found out that skype is a 32 bit app. So if your running opensuse 11 x86 64, then you will have to install the 32 bit apps for skype to install and run.

Good point. Actually, a lot of stuff is still 32 bit, hence installing the 32-bit version of most key libraries is likely a good idea. Boris. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I think this answer can be found from the mailing list archives.. I suppose you are running 64 bit version of Suse? You should then install the 32-bit qt libraries (skype is a 32 bit program). Look for "qt" and "32" in the package manager.. or was it "qt3" ? That worked for me. Cheers, Sampsa
