[SuSE Linux] Trying This Again...
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 For some reason nobody responded on the Linux 6.0 list. Sorry for this message (in the wrong group). Basically, I want to know if SuSE 6.0 as downloaded from the web site has many problems. I have a nice machine sitting here with SuSE 5.3 that works great (aside from the libc6 stuff, which doesn't work at all :). I'd like to try 6.0, but I don't want to bring down my main machine with it. First question: Will it be easy to upgrade from 5.3->6.0? Second question: Will it be easy to upgrade from 6.0b->6.0? Thanks... --------------------------------------------- | Evan DiBiase | Love it. I think the idea of 'beta' is to _find_ out of their are going to be problems and fix them prior to the official release. If you decide to use it things might go great--but they also might not, and you aren't protected by anything if you agree to be a 'tester'. If it was me, and I know it's not, I'd put it on a test box, and leave my stable 5.3 alone. -M
