Jonathan, When I installed SuSE's version of KDE2, from their ftp site, I assumed that the qt libraries with it were developer libraries. > They were not! When I pointed the config to /usr/lib/qt-2.1.1 (the complete developer version which I had installed from the CDs) configure worked fine! > JLK
<p> I removed Qt.2.1.1 as it supposedly interfered with KDE 2. I believe I read that at the KDE info page. I did not discard it; it's sitting on root's desktop. If I reinstall I bet I will get problems with Kword. Kword has been working quite well since I removed it! I still get an occasional crash but the KDE 2 enviornment seems better behaved. I will put it back and see what happens. <p> Jonathan
