Currently running SuSE 6.4; KDE 1.1.2 I have Kdevelop installed, which of course requires Qt-1.4x. I recently downloaded and compiled the sources for Qtez, a GUI frontend for QT. Just thought I'd give a try. Qtez requires Qt-2.2.0 which I also installed. After installing Qtez with a few easily remedied problems, I found that it would not run. I believe it is because /usr/lib/libqt.so is still pointing to the libqt.so in qt-1.45. If I change it to point to the libqt.so in qt-2.2.0, Kdevelop will not run. Is there any way to get Kdevelop and Qtez to coexist happily together on the same machine. Is there any way around the conflicting qt version dependencies? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
