I need to convert a man-page into HTML. Does anyone know of a tool to do this? I could of course just make a script to do it in Perl/awk/sed/whatever, but the I'd have to read up on groff, and without doubt someone else has already done this. I just got the answer on another list. On Tue, 19 Sep 2000 okh-linux@post.cybercity.dk wrote:

The 'correct' answer would be man2html, but I couldn't find that on the CD's. (I have 6.3.) However, I found out that gnome-man2html is already installed, and it works fine. cat man-page-file | gnome-man2html > html-file is all that is needed. gnome-man2html < man-page-file > html-file is faster and cheaper. :-) -- Bernd Felsche - Innovative Reckoning Perth, Western Australia -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

You are perfectly right, of course. At least my version also works. Regards Ole -- Windows: Where do you want to go today? MacOS: Where do you want to be tomorrow?
