Do you mean: Preferences -> File Browsing -> File Associations
Maybe that's it. Where is "preferences/file browsing/file associations"?
Preferences is right in the KMenu (well, at least on my standard installation). Hansen -- Powered by SuSE 8.1pro - KDE 3.0.3 - KMail 1.4.3 At least, try asking smart questions: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html Linux, cause I reboot less often than windows users reinstall... - anon

Appreciate the answer, but you're running 8.1 and I'm running 8.2. :o) There is no "preferences" on the KMenu in 8.2. Anybody running 8.2 who knows where to edit the "application preference order"? Thx. Gil

You didn't mention which version of KDE. For 3.1.4, try Control Center, KDE Component, File Associations -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
