For some reason the compose feature isn't working for me in 9.2. This is the ~/.kde/share/config/kxkbrc Layout=en_US Model=pc104 Options=compose:rwin,altwin:meta_alt ResetOldOptions=false ShowFlag=true ShowSingle=true StickySwitching=false StickySwitchingDepth=1 SwitchMode=Global Use=true Variants=en_US(nodeadkeys) This is the result: setxkbmap -print xkb_keymap { xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86+aliases(qwerty)" }; xkb_types { include "complete" }; xkb_compat { include "complete" }; xkb_symbols { include "pc/pc(pc104)+pc/en_US+altwin(meta_alt)+compose(rwin)" }; xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc104)" }; }; Notice that the nodeadkeys is missing. Has anyone else had problems with this? It looks like there's a new approach to configuration, and it might have a bug or two yet. I'm running 'stock' KDE with the latest updates. BTW. I HATE DEADKEYS!... I feel much better now. ;-) -- Regards, Steven
