If you're using a Cisco VPN router, why are you not using the Cisco Linux VPN client?
Is there a place to grab it from where you don't have to go through all of Cisco's BS certification of customer numbers, etc.? (I'm at a small subsidiary of a larger corporation, and just the thought of trying to get the Cisco customer numbers to be able to download the software gives me shivers...)
All that is required is a valid CCO account to download the software. If you have -any- contract with them you should have a CCO account.
Not quite...... CCO access _DOES NOT_ automatically get you file download access. Your CCO account must include that access such as exists for Premium Partners, CCIEs, and the like. Standard CCO access, as far as I know right now, doesn't include access to file download areas such as the vpn client and IOS upgrades unless Cisco sends you a special file download URL. But I agree, the cvpn client is the better choice, works for me. FWIW -Jeff
