[opensuse] Amarok seems to play only some mp3 files
I have been able to play in amarok (2.3.0 using KDE 4.3.1 rel 6) mp3 files using phonon gstreamer, but not all mp3 files are played. Phonon xine does not seem to work at all, so actually I have a partially working amarok. Does anyone know how to solve this issue ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Do you have the libxine1, libxine1-codecs, phonon-backend-xine packages from packman installed, and the xine backend set for use by phonon? Amarok 2.3 works fine with mp3 files here.
